Hi, I'm Bre! Welcome to my site-I'm so happy you're here. I created Gwynlo Silver Co. in January 2025 and everything you'll find on the site is made by me. The name Gwynlo is a combination of my middle name (Gwyn) and part of my last name. I self taught myself silversmithing for about two years and have decided to share my passion with whoever wants to check it out. I create everything with sterling silver and genuine stones, so the jewelry you buy here is made to last a lifetime. I am heavily inspired by my dad, who has been a talented wood worker in his free time for many decades. His wealth of knowledge has been an invaluable resource in many aspects of my work.
When creating this business, I made it a priority to stay mindful of how I can lessen my environmental impact while still pursuing what I love. I opt for recyclable cardboard packaging and 90% recycled bubble wrap for shipping. I do my best to source most of my tools, cabochons, and silver from a local jewelers supply shop in Colorado to reduce transportation and shipping emissions. What I cannot find there, I order from suppliers whose sustainability goals align with mine. Coral and ivory are never used in my designs for both ethical and sustainability reasons. I also reuse all of my scrap metal, melting it down to create embellishments and for future casting work, so none of my silver goes to waste.
